When May arrives and a sea of yellow dandelions bloom in the grassy areas around our house, we love to make the most of their vibrant colour and create dandelion lions.
It’s an easy project and even fairly young children can join in with the activity.
What you’ll need:
- Dandelions
- Yellow card
- Marker pen
- Glue
The first job is collecting the flowers.
One the flowers have been picked, you’ll need to cut a circle from yellow card and draw the face of a lion in the centre, using your marker pen. This creates your template.
Next, add a cirlce of glue around the outer edge of the template.
Finally stick the dandelions you collected on to the glue to form a mane.
Don’t forget to take a snap of your finished dandelion lions. Rooooaaarrrr!
